Bell & Gossett Success StoriesFHRA Team Helps Warm Up Lady LibertyThe Statue of Liberty in New York City's harbor entrance is a much loved and visited tourist site. However, in the winter, that usually meant that the tourists would freeze as they climbed the stairs inside the statue to the top. Thanks to Bell & Gossett pumps and systems, the grand statue is now keeping everyone warm. Hurricane KatrinaOn August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina battered the coast of Southeast Louisiana as a Category 3 storm causing over 84 billion dollars in damage to the area. Among the many businesses devastated by the flooding was Hydronic Technology, a member of the Fluid Handling Representation Association. Their office and warehouse in New Orleans was severely damaged with a complete loss on their inventory of heating and plumbing products. |
